My client who has an enviable national reputation is looking for a dynamic enthusiastic and driven sales manager. Their Preston office is a well-established and successful lettings business but as yet has not delved into sales. They are very keen to capitalise on the buoyant local sales market.It is therefore in effect a cold start. The company name and reputation is there but the selling stock is not. The primary function of the sales manager as a result will be business generation. This will involve heavy canvassing targeting of other agents’ stock developing incentives to draw enquiries and to win the business proactive callouts to archived clients networking etc. The sales manager will be responsible for the entire sales process until the stock has reached such a level that it warrants the hiring of a sales negotiator (circa 30-40 properties). They are keen that the sales arm of the business could be someone’s ‘baby’ and are prepared to reward handsomely for good performance. Basic will be in the low-mid-twenties with a car allowance and excellent commission structure.
