As part of planned expansion my client has announced the creation of two formal apprenticeship placements with the company starting in January 2016. The Role- Apprentice/ Post Graduate AdministratorThe role of an Apprentice/ Post Graduate Administrator will be to assist both the sales and lettings team in all aspects of Administration. The ideal candidate will be organised and exceptionally well presented hardworking and enthusiastic. You will be meeting and greeting applicants and vendors answering the telephone dealing with enquiries updating the office database and much much more. To be considered for this role you must have great interpersonal skills and have brilliant computer skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to take their first step in to the property industry. Offered to post ‘A’ level / post-graduate students and not to be confused with unpaid internship these coveted apprenticeships include proper remuneration and structured informal training and coaching day-to-day with formal industry-standard training and supervision regularly provided by Gold Standard. Candidates will be expected to work hard towards NVQs and diplomas culminating in full membership of NAEA. Both apprenticeships will provide a disciplined approach to all aspects of residential estate agency focusing on Sales in this instance. However it is worth noting that two former apprentices have gone on to gain experience in Lettings too and have consequently qualified in both disciplines resulting in membership of ARLA as well as NAEA.All apprenticeships commence with a period in administration before moving to other elements. Always a means of securing permanent employment in due course one apprenticeship in 2016 is intended as a direct route into senior administration/office management the second as a direct route into sales. Upon completion of apprenticeship successful candidates will continue to benefit from a clearly defined path towards senior management. They will be remunerated with a rising basic salary and scaled generous commission structures designed to reflect and reward improving performance knowledge and skill working towards increasingly complex roles.The cost of examinations external training and membership fees will be paid throughout the apprenticeship and thereafter by the company. Post ‘A’ level students will be remunerated with a standard apprenticeship salary (equating to around £5000 per annum) in the first year rising to £14000 per annum in the second year of training until qualified. Post-graduate students will be offered a starting salary of £12000 per annum rising to £14000 per annum in the second year of employment until qualified.
