Product Manager – Holiday Lettings FirmOur client are a privately owned and bespoke holiday letting company who have been established for 25 years. They have National coverage and are renowned for the excellent levels of customer service.Due to increased business levels and expansive growth they are looking to recruit a product Manager. The person will be based in East Anglia and covering Lincolnshire Suffolk Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. There will also be a fairly regular visits (approximately once a month) to Head Office.The main responsibilities of the role:•Responsible for working with regionally based operatives to deliver regional performance targets including property acquisition and retention.•Liaising with the Finance Department Commercial Director and regional Business Development Manager on regional commercial decisions and strategies.•Conducting regional competitor analysis•Day to day point of contact for county based Field Sales Managers – support accompany on visits monitor performance and adherence to guidelines.•Briefing regional operatives on any relevant information including new strategies products and partners.•Implementation of initiatives to drive volume and yield.•Delivery of improvements to the business area via continuous improvement.•Handling of commercial details with key accounts and high value estates.The ideal person:•Commercially aware and strongly analytical.•Able to lead manage and engage a diverse range of people. Sensitive to individual needs and capabilities•Previous sales experience particularly field sales•Able and willing to travel extensively in the UK and Ireland•Demonstrable ability in performance management and improvement. Able to train and coach other team members.•Proactive with good planning and organisational skills.•Able to prioritise work to achieve short and long term business goals•An enquiring and practical nature – able to see challenges and opportunities and to react accordingly to capitalise on them.•Superior soft skills valuing people and their contribution to the business•Degree or equivalent educational level is preferred but not essential•Experience within the Travel and holiday or property sector would be helpful but not essential.The company are at a new and exciting stage of their development and this opportunity offers a great chance to join a company with ambitious plans for the future.
