What words do you as an agent use most to describe your properties? Could it possibly be “lovely”?

London removals company Kiwi Movers did an analysis of agents across the capital and found that the word was used over 280,000 times by Foxtons alone.

By contrast, the word “affordable” appears only 634 times on the same site.

After “lovely”, estate agents’ favourite words are “popular” and “exclusive”.

The word “coffee” is used often, as more surprisingly is “burger”.

Some parts of London are described as up and coming, and “quirky”, while – predictably – the shabbiest (but, of course, up and coming) areas are “vibrant”.

EYE lives out of London but did a quick check of local agents.

We found “wonderful” to be a strong contender, with “exclusive” a favourite for homes on new housing estates.

What do you think?
