Spotted on Gumtree, an advert for the “cheapest estate agent course” in the UK.
Costing only £89, you get a certificate at the end of it, with 95% of students apparently being offered their first estate agency job within two weeks of completing the course.
Trainees can also “start you [sic] own estate agency business with what you learn”.
The course seems to pack a lot in to a day, from law to marketing, handling offers and negotiation.
The next course is on September 27.
We twice tried calling the number given in the Gumtree advert for more information but went through to voicemail.

The same advert poster – ‘Kate’ – whose name mysteriously changes to ‘Jayne’… or ‘Ellie’…or ‘Hannah’… on the next page – is offering similar courses in hair extension and dental receptionist.
ALL of the “courses” have only 2 spaces left… on the same day… at the same venue…
Gives me a range of options, I suppose.
