Romans has confirmed the closure of branches in two high profile towns.

It has shut in Beaconsfield and Henley-on-Thames.

Beaconsfield will now be covered from Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, and Henley-on-Thames by the branch in Caversham, Berkshire.

Anthony Gibson, managing director of Romans Residential Sales, said: “The strength and success of Romans is in our depth and diversity, and as markets change we continue to ensure that we are evolving and investing in areas where we can expand and grow.

“This was seen with Romans Sales and Lettings which opened in both Bristol and High Wycombe in 2018, and earlier this year we successfully launched Shared Ownership and Corporate Sales divisions.

“We are working closely with our people and where possible we will be re-positioning them elsewhere within the wider group.

“Our planned strategic growth through acquisition and entry into new marketplaces continues with a substantial fund already in place.”
