inance administratorworking inour Lettings Accounts team and assisting with some sales and purchase ledger tasks.
Working Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 Salary between £16,000 to £25,000 depending on experience /
No accounting experience is necessary; however Lettings experience would be beneficial.
Knowledge of Veco and Sage would also be helpful but not essential as full training will be given.
The main duties of the role are:
Lettings.
Update client and tenant bank accounts using online banking and our Lettings accounting system, Veco. Allocate funds received and investigate any unidentified receipts.
Initiate payments of rents to our Landlords, and sending out statements.
Raise and send out tenant demands.
Setting up and processing new tenancies.
Payments of suppliers and ensuring remittance advices are emailed.
Reviewing works orders and raising invoices.
Reconciliation of bank accounts.
Depending on experience the role may also incorporate:
Chasing outstanding rents and fees.
Landlord and tenant queries, by phone or email.
Sales.
Processing Sales ledger onto Sage.
Updating Sage & Reapit with receipt of funds from vendors / solicitors.
Reconciling bank accounts .
Assisting with purchase ledger processing.
