A top quality firm in Abingdon are looking to recruit an experienced Lettings Manager.Main Purpose of JobTo direct and control the day to day operation of the letting department in order to meet agreed sales targets and key business objectivesAccountabilities1.Supervise day-to-day operations of letting department and reception to ensure effective staff cover at all times2.To work alongside Office Manager with a specific responsibility to develop a plan and strategy to attract new landlords and properties3.Keep in touch with changing market conditions and be prompt to adjust letting policy and activities accordingly4.To provide first class service to landlords and tenants promoting success through recommendation5.To nurture and develop new business opportunities and contacts within local business community to facilitate letting of the portfolio6.Conduct take-on appointments effectively selling companies advantages in order to maximise opportunity to gain completed client instructions7.Ensure effective linkage and communication with property management accounts.8.Manage and coach the letting and reception staff to ensure that they appropriately motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards9.Share own specialist skills and legal knowledge for the benefit of the team10.Chair morning meetings ensuring that they are energetic focused and actively participated in by the whole team11.Assist team members with proposed rent increases in conjunction with advice from Property Manager12.Produce weekly letting reports and statistics as and when requestedKnowledge skills and experience required•Minimum three years experience in sales/lettings agency•Excellent track record in achieving targets•Experience of managing teams of people•Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels•Excellent written and verbal communication skills•Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation•Strong legal knowledge via NFOPP Technical Award qualificationFor more information regarding this vacancy please call us on 01242 228362.
