An exciting new role has become available within our client an established independent estate agent in London Bridge and due to a significant increase in business and our desire to expand further.They are looking for an experienced senior lettings negotiator to be part of the team in their busy office. The role will eventually lead into a lettings manager position so any applicant must be ambitious and ready to take on a challenging position.You will be focused on building the letting side of the business and therefore will be self-driven and have the ability to win new business. This role is for an enthusiastic self-motivated and ambitious individual seeking an exciting new position in a fast growing independent estate agency in central London. Duties include• Registering applicants fully and matching them to suitable properties.• Management of registered applicants• Advising clients about the lettings process• Arranging and carrying out viewings• Negotiating and closing offers• Ensuring all paperwork is in place for new tenancies in line with company procedure• Generate new business and increase fee income• Negotiate and agree terms with new clients• Meet sales targets• Maintain an awareness of competition in surrounding area and update strategy to counter competition• CanvassingAttributes/Skills• Excellent written and communication skills• The ability to self-motivate and work in a busy environment as part of a team and on your own• Outstanding organisation skills• The ability to build good relationships and rapports with a wide range of people• Attention to detailRequirements• Experience within the lettings industry preferably 3 years minimum.• Proven track record of winning business• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets• Local area knowledge preferableThe basic salary will be between £15000 and £20000 dependant on experience with an attractive tiered uncapped commission structure.Hours of work will be 09.00 18.30 Monday to Fridays and every other Saturday 10.0016.00.
