A brothel was run above an estate agents in a respectable town in leafy Surrey.
The man and woman ran it for just five days, in a flat above Barnard Marcus, part of Connells, in Dorking High Street, advertising a variety of sexual services.
Bin Zhang, 32, and Shujing Chang, 45, were jailed this week at Guildford Crown Court after pleading guilty to one count of keeping a brothel for prostitution.
Prosecuting, Hannah Duncan told the court that online adverts began appearing from January 14, posted by Zhang, advertising “new sexy Asian girls” accompanied by a photo of a semi-naked East Asian woman.
She told the court that staff in the estate agents below the flat noticed three Asian women and a large number of lone men frequently coming and going from the flat.
The pair were sentenced to eight months in prison, ordered to pay a mandatory surcharge of £140 each and had all of the money found at the property, about £2,700, confiscated.
Chang and Zhang had already spent five months in prison on remand for the offences. The court heard they will likely be deported when they are released from prison.

Hope they left a deposit.
Mucky Barnyard !!!!!
Can just imagine someone going upstairs by mistake instead of into the agents office. “Do you charge upfront or on completion?”
You just won the internet with that one! Brilliant!
Apparently there was one above the William H Brown office in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Maybe it’s Sequence / Connells diversification attempts.
The moment I saw the headline I thought, “the comments are going to be all puns aren’t they”. Thanks for not disappointing.
Maybe a fetish – liked being locked up? or should it be banged up!
Thats the definition of an unhappy finish
Dyslexic man just thought he was buying a wharehouse.
I’ll get my coat…
