Winkworth continues its expansion plans in the South-west of England with the opening of a new office in Ferndown in Dorset.
The new office has been opened by James Hadley-Clift, who is hoping to capitalise on the rise in the number of people moving out of London.
This is Hadley-Clift’s second office franchise in two years, following on from the opening of a Winkworth office in Southbourne on the outskirts of Bournemouth at the beginning of last year.
Ferndown is the seventh Winkworth office in Dorset – joining Southbourne, Westbourne, Poole, Milford-on-sea, Highcliffe and Mudeford.
Hadley-Clift said: “In Southbourne, we were doing 12,000 virtual viewings a month in the first quarter this year. One of the team at our new office in Ferndown will be a professional photographer, who will be providing amazing images and Matterport tours.
“One of the reasons why I became a Winkworth franchisee was because of the quality of marketing the brand offers, combined with the commitment to clients.
“Our customers are busy people who expect a quality service, from the brochures, images and digital tools to the people who are looking after the sale or purchase of their home.”
With his business partner at Ferndown, Rosella Short, Hadley-Clift says he is planning to expand further in Dorset and is actively looking at suitable locations.
He added: “There is great demand [for property in Ferndown] from people moving from the capital but there is also strong demand locally, with around 50% of buyers from the local area.
“Property in and around Ferndown offers tremendous value when compared to Wimborne, for example.”
The new Winkworth office stands on a prominent road junction in Ferndown, Dorset’s second largest inland town, with good access to Wimborne and Ringwood, as well as Bournemouth and Poole.

Winkworth recently opened Milford on Sea. Not the only existing franchisee expanding Poringland In Norwich have expanded taking on an adjoining terrritory.
The Westbourne branch in Bournemouth acc. to RM has a sales inventory of 232 with 192 under offer or SSTC
A staggering amount even allowing for the fact that some are just hanging around the portal and are already done and dusted.
Recent openings at Crystal Palace & Tooting who are both performing well are being run on a direct basis where they get to keep all the pies so perhaps this will encourage them to expand this side
Although Dominc Agace clearly spelled out at the recent AGM that this will not be on borrowed monies (like CWD !)

The refreshing thing about Winkies updates is they are devoid of candy floss . They say it exactly as it says on the tin.
As is the way of all flesh some recent barnches over the past few years have disappeared some absorbed into other offices but only a handful Colindale, West Bridgeford , Ramsbury, Enfield and London Colney but unlike Ewemove the damage has not been on an industrial scale.
