EYE can exclusively reveal that the 2020 EA Masters will be an estate agency event on a scale never seen before in this country.

Comprising 40 speaker sessions, over 28 hours of content will be delivered on October 8th with delegates being able to access all the sessions over the following 7 days.

In addition, the Best Estate Agency Guide Awards will be announced following the fourth annual assessment of over 90% of all UK estate agencies.

The theme for the event is “The Next Normal” and the conference sessions will be delivered by 14 of the Property Academy’s world class business speakers, industry and business professionals from the UK plus four leading international agents.

Peter Knight from the Property Academy explained:

“We had three options – cancel the event, put something on via Zoom or YouTube, or to really go for it.

“We’ve chosen the third option and will be filming from three different studios, each with three camera crews, vision mixers and graphic designers and using a platform that will enable lots of interaction between exhibitors and delegates.

“We’re investing far more in the production of this digital event than we ever have in a physical event.”

Session highlights include insights from the Property Academy’s ‘Home Moving Trends’ surveys which were carried out two weeks ago with 32,058 sellers, landlords, tenants and buyers taking part.

This enormous piece of research is being analysed by Dataloft who will present the findings and key insights as to what people are really wanting from their estate agent, how big an issue fees are and why they chose one agent over the others.

Supplier review site, Kerfuffle, will present the “Top 20 must see innovations, products and services” for estate agents to consider for the next normal. These include a mix of PropTech and more traditional services that have been reinvented.

Behavioural economist Roger Martin-Fagg, who called the V recovery in March, four months ahead of the Chief Economist from the Bank of England, (Roger also forecast the last three general elections and Trump victory, months before, as he has the last two recessions), will give his latest opinion on the outlook for 2021.

Rightmove are the Principal Partners for the event and will also be sharing their latest insights on market trends and changes in consumer behaviour.

Peter Knight added:

“With all the challenges, issues and changes agents have faced this year and knowing just how much innovation and new product/service development has taken place during this period we are very excited to put on an event like no other before.

“Last year, 2,000 people attended, 1,200 in person and 800 online.

“This year we’ve reduced the ticket price down from £299 to under £50 (based on the best value ‘earliest bird’ rate of £49.75pp when buying 4 logins) which is incredibly good value for the quality of the 28 hours of content and we expect that the best agents from across the country will attend.”

Tickets have gone on sale today and the earliest bird rate expires in 17 days on 28th August – you can get them here https://www.eamasters.co.uk/tickets/
