Well known industry figure Nicky Stevenson has joined the management team of Fine & Country.
She previously worked at Keller Williams, as director of its flagship Mayfair market centre, with her appointment announced only last April.
It is not known why her tenure at Keller Williams, trumpeted at the time, was so short.
Stevenson is also well known as former managing director of the Property Academy and organiser of industry awards events, and has a strong reputation as a trainer and recruiter.
In her new role she will be helping Fine & Country to grow both in the UK and overseas.
Fine & Country says it is ambitious to expand and increase its market share.
Stevenson said: “The opportunity to join such a highly regarded, established brand and assist the growth both in the UK and overseas was too good to miss.
“I am excited about this next chapter in my career. Fine & Country is a prestigious and renowned international brand with an award-winning marketing service.

While it’s no doubt a blow for KW losing any member of staff not sure its a ‘Coup’ Fine & Country attracting them.
I have not personally met the individual but from the online content i have seen i think articulate and well presented is getting mixed with apparent skill set.
Phew! I was worried, SP, that you might have made a New Year’s resolution to only comment on things you have in-depth knowledge about. But I’m glad to see this is not the case and you are still merrily content to put your boot into people (and I am sure products) that you have never met, used or really understand. I’m delighted not everything is changing in 2020.
I would have hated to disappoint.
It does seem sad that we are in a society today where opinions ‘offend’ if they are not agreed by others.
As i said never met the individual but plenty of postings all over the internet of videos, interviews etc, nothing against them and from what i see, they seem certainly compitient.
What have they achieved? Nothing jumps out and makes me think WOW. For me its hardly a ‘News Story’ The more interesting part of it is yet another leaves KW.
Wondering how long Ben Taylor will stay? Now he would be a fine addition to any firm and worth bragging about.
Was definitely not offended in any way SP- but more genuinely mystified by your apparent need to question someone’s ability/skillset whilst simultaneously admitting you don’t know the person. Perhaps, just maybe, if you don’t have relevant knowledge of the topic/person maybe keep your negative-leaning comments to yourself….until you gather that knowledge or your suspicions/beliefs are proven right/wrong. As agents we get picked apart by the media and public enough- do we really need to leap at every opportunity to do it ourselves whilst doing so behind the anonymity of a handle?

From what I have seen on Linkdin she has been a linchpin for KW thus far in the UK.
A very capable lady and a good move for her.
Taking 30% out of anyone’s turnover just for a place to sit is way too much and not viable on the UK fee levels – I think the KW people are finding that out for themselves.
What is needed is a genuine self employed platform where the agents keep their fees and then just pay back for what they use/need.
Too many fingers in the pie at KW to leave enough for the agents themselves I think.

Linchpin?
Her CV, other than being a glorified PA for Peter Knight is sketchy at best and she has now jumped ship to a direct competitor of KW. Don’t get me wrong, KW and their magical ‘systems and models’ are clearly a nonsense for the UK market and will require root and branch overall to have any chance of survival. Cant see it though.
Anyone know why Keller William’s Glasgow Market Centre closed?
Surprised this hasn’t been reported on.
If you call KW they say its open however google shows closed permanently! I give them until the end of 2020 and they will be gone or someone else will try to revive the brand again!
Hopefully she won’t be bringing Russell Quirk with her !
