The administration of the original Emoov company has been extended until December next year.
Administrators James Cowper Kreston made an application for the extension at the High Court, with the agreement of the creditors.
Emoov, founded by Russell Quirk, went into administration on December 3 last year.
The company’s name, website and technology was subsequently bought out of administration by start-up firm Mashroom, which has since relaunched the business.

I think part of the delay has been caused by questions being asked regarding the crowdfunding at a point the company was arguably not in a very good financial shape. Also, the merging of 3 entities, and the financial agreements that a number of stakeholders had in these businesses, and who is at the top of the pecking order for any form of payment after the HMRC and the administrators have taken their share.
One wonders what that extra year of “work” will uncover?
A Quirk of Fate perhaps.
Kerching for the administrators, Merry Christmas!
Absolutely! You would think that 12 months is long enough for a company of its size….its not Carillion…..
I would imagine the sorry mess left behind will never be completely untangled…
another disrupter technology website?
who’s next?
PB?
