Agents made redundant amid branch closures have started up their own business.
The three former employees of Harrison Murray, which ceased to trade in Northampton, have set up Home Move.
Paula Scinaldi, Alan Young and Simon Manning worked out of the former East Hunsbury, George Row and Duston branches.
Scinaldi said: “I want to reach out to our previous clients to say we are the same team just with a different name.
“We offer a bespoke, tailor-made service based around the needs of the individual.”
Harrison Murray, which then had 18 branches, was bought by the Nottingham Building Society in 2013.
Earlier this year, it said that it would be closing three of the four branches in Northampton, affecting 41 jobs.
We wish the trio striking up on their own the very best.

Best of luck with the new venture!!
Good luck to you in your new venture, I hope it’s a real success. I was a victim of The Nottingham earlier in the year but it’s turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. Now with a market leading agent and instructing good numbers. Nick, HM was never the same without you or Jackie. I carry a lot of the knowledge from our Valuer meetings with me today. Good luck once again Paula, Alan and Simon.

I worked with Paula and Alan when Harrison Murray was a leading agency in the East Midlands – I am sure they will be successful with the new venture. All good wishes!
I remember you Nick, you came in as Ops director if I remember? We were all readlly greatful as you brought in a load of changes that many of the shop floor staff had been telling them to for years! It was a great firm while you and Paula etc were there!
Having worked with Paula (it’s Adam McH here) I know they’ll make a sucess of it. Good luck.
Good luck to you all
