Zoopla Property Group has appointed Matthew Cohan to the newly created role of chief product officer.
Cohan used to be director of product management at the Digital Property Group, which was bought by ZPG in 2012.
He has since worked as director of online products for digital photo service Photobox.
Cohan will be on the ZPG executive team and report directly to CEO Alex Chesterman.
He will be responsible for the Group’s full product suite, accelerating its portfolio of products for both its members and consumers.

Maybe you could of at least tried to find something interesting in this story e.g. where Z might be heading? Just a thought. But what do I know about balanced reporting?????
Mmmm….So Zoopla are losing agents to OTM in droves. In response they have taken on someone who has experience of a property portal and has recently worked for a large photo processing company where customers upload multiple self- taken photo's onto a platform directly… cutting out the middleman! What could this mean I wonder?!!!
Technologists and portals forget the main thing. Agents would rather they were brought local properties rather than gizmo software. Without the listings the technology isnt worth a light.

We are a property portal paid for by Estate Agents, seems to make sense not to p155 them off,. What's that? You have already? Ohh! This is the master switch? CLUNK!
Wonder how many share he's bought since Z went public to stop the share price falling further than it has? Going to have to dream up some amazing wonder products (that we don't want/need) to stop the inevitable. Good luck. Alex is obviously counting on you.
