Deposit replacement schemes are continuing to rub shoulders with the agency sector after unveiling a range of partnerships.
Flatfair is now available for letting agents using the Goodlord software platform.
Tenancy agreements along with the terms and conditions of flatfair’s deposit replacement service will be integrated with the Goodlord platform.
A spokesman for flatfair said agents would receive a “competitive market referral fee,” adding: “The focus of the partnership is what the product offering will bring in terms of simplicity and efficiency for managing agents and landlords.”
Zero Deposit has been made available to members of the Residential Landlords Association (RLA), who will offer it as an option alongside traditional schemes.
An RLA spokesman said Zero Deposit was an approved partner but landlords would not receive referral fees, which agents do when offering the product.
Meanwhile, Reposit has sealed another agency partnership, and will be offered by Devon-based Webbers.
Reposit offers referral fees of up to 20% to its partners, but a spokesman was unable to reveal the individual amount that Webbers would receive for each policy.

Didn’t Goodlord make their own deposit replacement product?
It is hard to keep up!
Yes you’re right – Goodlord still provides a deposit replacement product to our customers. Our partnership with flatfair makes the terms of their product available in our contracts, with hopes of making it even easier for customers of both Goodlord and flatfair to process tenancy agreements directly from our platform.
Dont forget as an agent, you will need to state to the consumer the amount of referral fee received
