Remarkably, for a Picture of the Week, this is not so much a picture as a screengrab.
Even more remarkably, given EYE’s track record in showing agents’ unerring ability to photograph themselves in mirrors, let alone fail to turn off TVs, lower loo lids, or remove sitting tenants from, well, sitting, this one is extremely poignant.
Or infuriating, given your point of view.
Nine-year old Belle explains her choice of charity when money for good causes was collected at her grandfather’s funeral.
Who’ll tell her?

Amazing to see Shelter harnessing the propaganda value of a 9 year old!!!
How low dare they go?
I feel sure they will manage to go lower!
Undoubtedly Will!
Perhaps tattooing new-borns with anti-Landlord/anti-Agent slogans? (*Note to any Shelter staff reading this thread: please do not attempt this, it is not a good idea!)
Shame on them for using that as a marketing piece.
Tweeting a response would only seem disrespectful so you can’t even dispute it.
Don’t you just love the innocence and vulnerability of a child. If only she realised that shelter do not actually house anyone she would be so so disappointed.
That’s what I was about to say. This poor child has such high hopes of the ‘charity’ she has chosen, and is obviously a lovely little girl to care about those she doesn’t know at that age, and yet that money will be spent on salaries for political lobbyists who serve no-one but themselves.
Heartbreaking…
Classic duping of the public by Shelter who if they had any moral/ethics would hand the money back and point the chilld towards a “real” homeless charity.
So why am I not going to holding my breath on this happening?
Someone tell her how much of the donation went towards paying the ceo at shelter and that shelter do not house the homeless, they just contribute to more becoming homeless with their relentless landlord bashing!
Nothing other than shelter campaigning for donations
