Zoopla Property Group has launched a new feature which allows members to display the professional associations and redress schemes they are affiliated with on various sections of the Zoopla and PrimeLocation websites.
ZPG members can activate this new feature under their profile in ZooplaPro and activate the display of logos of their affiliations on all relevant agent directory pages, property details pages and professional reports across the ZPG platform.
The associations that can currently be displayed include The Property Ombudsman (TPO), Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents).
Jon Notley, commercial director said: “This new feature, offered at no extra cost, is a great way for our members to showcase their professional affiliations to home hunters.
“Our member agents are proud of these associations and we are delighted to be able to help promote them to consumers.”

It doesn't' prove anything other than to offend their customers who are not members which doesn't automatically make them as rouge agents. What a way to treat your customer's. Zoopla shot themselves in the foot at a time when they can ill afford to lose customers.
Shot self in foot, hmm… I'm sure consumers will discover this new feature and decide because of giving them this piece of additional information, they will no longer use the site. You clearly have no idea.
It is a good idea but I can't help thinking that it is all a little bit too late for this? Why, 2 months before the launch of otm are Z trying to snuggle up to NAEA and ARLA members when both organisations have firmly nailed their support flags to OTM? Also why, when they are presumably trying to keep offices on Zoopla, are they sending out increase notices that increase their £300 per office p/mth fees up c5% each year for the next 2 years. They say that they want to be transparent about their rates for the next 2 years, which is fine…..but significant and guarenteed increases year on year will not do much to persuade those who are thinking of leaving from staying! Especially when Rightmove have stayed the same or offered us reduced rates to stay with them rather than z.
They have given an agent the option to display they are affiliated with one of those organisations. Good for the agent, good for the consumer. What does that have to do with increases!
Nothing, really. It's just that it is a good idea, if they had coupled it with no increases and some other innovative moves they wouldn't be saying goodbye to 1000s of offices in the new year. Both the major portals have been in touch and tried to create more in the last few months with info, stats, pens (got the latest RM box today) etc etc and if they had tried to look after professional agents better over the last few years with new ideas and regular feedback and less or no extortionate year on year price hikes, otm wouldn't exist.
All for it – Zoopla users will know whether the firm they use are members of our industry's leading regulatory bodies, or whether they're taking a risk by using an unaffiliated agent

Another tactic to prevent AM members leaving Zoopla? Will be interesting to see if the rumours of Zoopla's demise at the hands of OnTheMarket might be seriously overplayed. Could Right I've be the big loser when 4,000+ branches take their subscriptions and listings away from one of the duopoly?
We NAEA members should promote the organisation far more than we do, just to show professional credibility. In order to join potential members must pass the Technical Award in Residential Sales. Worth doing!
