A complaint against an estate agent has been informally resolved by the advertising watchdog.
The Advertising Standards Authority said the complainant objected to an advertisement on Howard Cundey’s website saying that properties for sale would also be advertised on Zoopla.
The complainant said her own property was not featured on the site.
An ASA spokesperson said that Howard Cundey agreed to remove any references that suggested that properties advertised on its own website would be on Zoopla.

Old information on the HC website, perhaps? A potentially costly mistake in terms of the adverse publicity and competitor ability to use it against the company – all for the sake of not checking their blurb thoroughly?
Or simply baiting sellers with promises of things that weren’t there to be promised? We have seen this dozens of times reported on the ‘pages’ of EYE – yet we have never I believe seen a single one of them taken to task by @ASA_UK.
I would hope that it be the former, and that Cundey are/were not stooping to the lows of others.
But whether unfortunate, unlucky or well-deserved, it shouldn’t have happened in the first place – and should be a warning to us all to watch what we claim… or have claimed – there is a footprint left somewhere!
