The collapse of the business that operated the Hunters brand in Norfolk has resulted in the loss of 21 jobs, it has been confirmed.

EYE revealed last week that Kudos Residential had ceased trading, wiping out Hunters’ presence in the county.

The business has been placed into creditors’ voluntary liquidation with Price Bailey insolvency practitioners Matt Howard and Stuart Morton.

The total number of redundancies was confirmed at a creditors’ meeting yesterday, according to the Norwich Evening News.

Eight of the franchise’s nine offices have closed, with the Hellesdon branch currently being run by William H Brown staff to help landlords and tenants move their contracts over.

Howard said: “In the report to creditors the directors cited a tough market, that they had perhaps grown too quickly, and a large HMRC debt.”

He said it was too early to establish the amount of money owed to creditors.

Kudos had offices in Ber Street in Norwich, Poringland, Long Stratton, Brundall, Bungay, Diss, Gorleston and Great Yarmouth.
