There are too many consultations – and not enough action.
The accusation has come from the Residential Landlords Association.
It says there are currently 15 ongoing consultations which could affect the private rented sector – but not one will deliver more housing.
The RLA’s director of policy David Smith said: “Whilst it is right to properly consult on proposals, no tenant can live in a consultation.”

With Governments and Government bodies only paying lip service there is little of no point. Just tell landlords the truth they are not wanted and Government can then put its money where its mouth is and provide social housing rather than the usual mouthing off.
