Zoopla has signed an agreement with estate agents and chartered surveyors Henry Adams to list all of its properties.
With a network of 15 offices across West Sussex and into Hampshire and Surrey, Henry Adams numbers Arun Estates among its close competitors.
Arun, with some 100 offices, has signed a deal to list with OnTheMarket when the latter floats.
Philip Jordan, chief executive of Henry Adams, said: “We’re very pleased to be back with ZPG. It is clear to us that ZPG offers a compelling proposition for anyone who is serious about selling.
“We wish to gain maximum exposure for our properties, and apart from the quality of the ZPG websites, we were also attracted back by their comprehensive range of products and services which complement our brand perfectly.

Yesterday, Zoopla said that 1,000 estate agency branches which had left to join OnTheMarket have now returned to it.
OnTheMarket is expected to reveal details of its planned stock market listing shortly.

Erm… just a small point if I may.
Before anyone mockingly laments OTM ‘losing’ yet another Agent, Henry Adams do not appear to have left OnTheMarket.com.
The company are now listing with all three portals.

If onthemarket would hurry up and close they could get on with beating WrongMove
All zoopla need to do is ban PAY ANYWAY AGENTS and prove they are here for their customers and house hunters and i they should win the war.
Any agent who has PANYWAY in their chain knows how difficult it is trying to get a chain moving.
Drop them on fee and drop them on service.

I went to rightmove when onthemarket killed zoopla…and iam now use zoopla and rightmove and increased my market share….. i feel dirty but i need to feed my kids. .

Lies, damned lies and statistics ! Who’d be an account manager for ZPG ? A recent visit from their pleading rep. states:-
“We have just welcomed back the 1,000th OTM agent to return to Zoopla and December sees us receive record number of enquiries between Boxing Day and New Year. ”
A pretty bold claim seeing as we are still approaching mid-November. Nothing less than I’d expect though. Bless !
