A woman has won her case against Countrywide estate agents on grounds of indirect sex discrimination, constructive unfair dismissal and breach of flexible working regulations.

The judgment of the employment tribunal was made by default, in the absence of a response from the company.

A “remedy hearing” estimated to last three hours was due to be held before a Judge sitting alone on April 5. However, we understand this has been postponed.

The woman is named as Mrs H. Levy. The judgment was dated February 15.

No more information has been made available on the case by the official press service.

We have, however, asked Countrywide for a comment.
