We have decided to introduce a new feature on EYE, to go with our ever-popular Picture of the Week.
And first up is our initial contender for Review of the Week.
We’re pretty certain that this review, visible on a Google search yesterday for the agents in question, is not quite the message they’d want to spread.
Yet the one-star rating seems to have been up there for a month.
“Valued my house and ended up having an affair with my wife. Wouldn’t recommend . . . unless you want rid of your wife.”

I’m going to get him round to value my house…..Does he definitely take the missus?
Depends whether he has a more imposing semi to offer her than yours!
Did he take down her particulars?
Clearly Sally Taylor’s who has filled out a response on the same site advice has been taken literally…
The service is first class and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend anyone to use them.
Certain other ‘Agents’ that spring to mind would have reported that review and had it removed the minute it was Tweeted!
Good on these guys for taking the rough with the smooth – others should take note.
A “full service” agent.
. . . Who wouldn’t get out of bed for less than 1.5%!
Think you got the symbol wrong there, eltell – you want an inch symbol not a percentage one.
And if that one makes it through moderation then you’ll find me penning my next Carry On script.
OHHHHHHHHHHH Matron!
Happens all the time.
At least where I am in Grimsby !!!!!!
Ok I’m not in Grimsby and it doesn’t really happen ALL the time.
Just most of the time !!
That’s sales progression if I’ve ever seen it.
BTW, the agent is Edkins and Holmes, so the mystery of the affair was pretty elementary to solve.
Your detective skills are awesome mrharvey. We had all missed the bleedin’ great heading on that screenshot. 🙂
My only gripe was that they weren’t mentioned in the article but twice in the image!
