Five-office lettings firm Lenwell Property Services has acquired a four-branch business, Acorn Residential Sales and Lettings.

Lenwell operates across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northants, while Acorn is based in Hertfordshire.

Robert Wellstead, managing director of Lenwell, said: “Hertfordshire is a area where we have always been interested in having a presence – it was simply a question of waiting for the right opportunity to come along.”

The price of the deal has not been disclosed.
