Picture of the Week 2: Now this really is a nightmare

Here’s Picture of the Week number 2.

Basically, it’s a nightmare best viewed from behind the sofa.

With 13 rooms over four floors, this house looks perfectly normal (but then that’s how Elm Street always looks before Freddie gets going).

It’s a big house in east London, which is already bedsit city, and could offer an investor great rental returns.

But, oh my word, get to picture number 4 in the slideshow, and talk about a scream.

The room has blood-red walls. There are also life-sized mannequins of both Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th) and Freddy Krueger (Elm Street), plus displays of murderous weapons, and a neat collection of skulls.

And are those handcuffs on those suspiciously neat black sheets?

The listing blurb talks about “many original features” – but do these include what’s on display here?

And, er, will the tenant be going with the sale?
