Rightmove says its new Optimiser package will not be for every agent – but says it has had a positive reception.

Optimiser, says Rightmove, “joins a suite of tailored membership packages”.

A spokesperson said: “Rightmove works with agents to create tailored packages that will best suit their marketing objectives.

“The packages range from a core membership for all properties to be listed on Rightmove, to a new ‘Optimiser’ package option for those agents looking to further their brand exposure, property exposure and valuation lead generation on the site.

“Rightmove’s account managers have regular reviews with agents to ensure they are on the most effective package for their needs.

“Optimiser offers enhanced brand and property advertising and helps agents spread their marketing to a bigger audience on Rightmove around their local areas.”

Rightmove’s agency director Jason Bushby explained: “We created the new Optimiser option after receiving an increasing number of requests from agents to spend more on making their business stand out on the site and marketing their services to a bigger audience.

“It offers them a package that focuses on promoting their brand and enhancing their properties, and agents have the chance to tailor the product mix to best suit them.

“Since launching the new package we’ve had requests and sign-ups from a number of different agents.”

Rightmove does, however, say the new package won’t suit all agents.
