An agent that found itself at the centre of controversy earlier this year has had all its windows smashed.
CJ Hole, in Southville, Bristol, had sent a touting letter out to landlords, saying that it could get higher rents.
The letter was sent to tenanted properties and placed by a tenant on Twitter, sparking local anger.
A demonstration was held outside the branch, owned by franchisee Paul Goverd, while almost 12,000 people signed an online petition calling for the firm to sign an ethical lettings charter. Signatories notably included a second CJ Hole franchisee in Bristol, Chris Hill.

Nothing in the Letter they wrote deserves this sort of criminal action. Hope they get caught and names published. Looking to rent after smashing up a LA office – jog on.
I hope they have cameras and caught the anti social law breaker.
ROGUE TENANT? although I do not condone this type of advertising it is no better or worse than PPI, Accident solicitors etc chasing claims. Criminal damage is not the answer.
